Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, this year Ibn Haldun University joined the Short Film Festival's screening and event venues such as AKM Yeşilçam Cinema and Atlas Cinema.
Supporting the production of short films in Turkey for many years and making significant contributions to the development of Turkish Cinema, Kısadan Hisse Short Film Festival met with its audience for the 9th time between 2-9 November this year.
Ibn Haldun University was one of the venues for the festival this year, with screenings held at the Media and Events Center and Öğrenci Merkezi Cinema Hall on November 3-5.
The festival, hosted by the İHÜ Media Center and Cinema Club, featured a speech by Hasan Ramazan Yılmaz, a faculty member of the Communication Faculty at Ibn Haldun University during the opening program. He emphasized that in recent years, the intellectual interest of undergraduate and graduate students in cinema had significantly increased, and as a result, the video content produced by student teams within the İHÜ Media Center had become increasingly more qualified. Yılmaz stated that hosting the "Kısadan Hisse Short Film Festival” was particularly meaningful from this perspective.
