Department of New Media and Communication

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Department of New Media and Communication at Ibn Haldun University. In an era where communication shapes every aspect of life, our mission is to prepare you not only for today’s challenges but also for the opportunities and transformations of tomorrow.

Our undergraduate curriculum follows the 7+1 model: seven semesters of courses that combine theory with practice, followed by a final semester dedicated to a 14-week professional internship and a capstone project. This ensures that you graduate with both academic depth and real-world experience, ready to step into the industry with confidence.

With our trilingual education policy, integrating Turkish, English, and Arabic, our program offers a unique global perspective. In 2024, we proudly received FIBAA Accreditation, a mark of quality that confirms our international academic standards.

At our department, you will find opportunities to specialize in diverse fields such as journalism, digital media, marketing communication, public relations, film, and documentary production. Our Media Center (established in 2022) and fully equipped studios provide the hands-on learning environment necessary for success. Beyond the classroom, students benefit from voluntary internships, certification programs, and international collaborations, enriching their academic journey with practical skills and global outlooks.

Our goal is not only to train skilled communication professionals but also to nurture free-thinking, socially responsible, and intellectually curious individuals. The years you spend here will shape both your intellectual foundation and your professional vision.

We look forward to guiding you as you become future leaders and innovators in the dynamic world of communication.
