Architectural Photography Workshop Held with Engin Gerçek
The workshop held at our university, where the intricacies of architectural photography were conveyed, offered students both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.

One of Turkey’s leading architectural photographers, Engin Gerçek, met with students interested in architectural photography through a workshop organized by the Department of New Media and Communication at our University. The workshop, which began on May 2 and concluded on May 7, was conducted in two sessions.

In the first session, participants were provided with theoretical knowledge and practical shooting techniques for accurately photographing architectural structures. Our students, as aspiring photographers of the future, gained insights into proper lighting, perspective control, and how to achieve the best results under various shooting conditions.

The second session took place in the computer lab. Here, participants received training on how to retouch and enhance the photos they had taken in a digital environment. Core post-production techniques such as image editing, color correction, and perspective adjustment were covered in detail.

Throughout the two sessions, our participating students had the opportunity to develop their skills in architectural photography by gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
