Our Students' Initiative “Sosyanom” Receives Award at the TRT Future Communicators Competition

Sosyanom, founded by Fatihhan Adana, a graduate of Ibn Haldun University’s Department of New Media and Communication, reached the finals of TRT’s Future Communicators Competition and received the TRT Special Award in the Digital Publishing category on 13 October 2026.

Fatihhan Adana, the community’s founding coordinator and a current master’s student at our university, accepted the award on behalf of Sosyanom. Our students’ competence in content creation and their collaborative spirit have been crowned with the TRT Special Award.

Founded and run entirely by students from our university, Sosyanom is a social media content creation community where students handle every stage of production, from filming and editing to publishing and communications.

This process enables our students to put the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies into practice and develop their ideas through peer learning. Throughout the content production process, our students take full advantage of the extensive opportunities provided by our Media Center, supported by its dedicated studio and production infrastructure.

We congratulate the Sosyanom team on their achievement in the Future Communicators Competition and wish them continued success.
