On the evening of Friday, May 30, the 2025 graduating students of Ibn Haldun University’s Department of New Media and Communication came together with faculty members at the traditional graduation dinner held at the Baltalimanı Social Facilities, where feelings of pride, excitement, and farewell were shared.
In his speech during the dinner, Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karanfiloğlu stated, “You set out four years ago to grasp the rapidly evolving dynamics of digital media, and today you are graduating with a strong professional foundation centered on critical thinking. Once you step into the industry, you will better recognize the quality of the education you have received,” congratulating the graduates.
Additionally, Dr. Hasan Ramazan Yılmaz emphasized that the Department of New Media and Communication has become one of the fastest-growing programs in the country, stating, “Our research-based education model prepares our graduates not only for the industry but also for academia in a strong and effective way.” Students also shared their reflections on the experiences gained throughout their studies and their future career aspirations during their speeches.
The 2025 New Media and Communication Department Graduation Dinner brought together students and faculty around the same table, contributing to the formation of a strong alumni network. This gathering, which helped establish a lasting connection between the university and its graduates, was recorded as a meaningful event to be remembered by both sides.
