The “Digital Media Research and Visual Arts Academy” project proposed by Ibn Haldun University (IHU) has been granted support by the Istanbul Development Agency (IDA) within the scope of the Creative Industries Financial Support Program.
Working under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, IDA announced its successful projects within the scope of the Entrepreneurship Financial Support Program for 2021 and the Creative Industries Financial Support Program. The Digital Media Research and Visual Arts Academy held its place among these successful projects.
About the “Digital Media Research and Visual Arts Academy” Project
The academy planned to be established with the project, creation of technological infrastructure and capacity for production and post-production services, design of joint projects and job opportunities for the students and graduates of the academy through collaborations with media organizations, production of content such as short films and videos with existing media tools, and various digital activities will be carried out for the effective use of platforms and the development of unique products and services based on local culture.
The “Digital Media Research and Visual Arts Academy” project, in which Başakşehir Municipality and The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) are among its stakeholders, will be carried out by the School of Communication of Ibn Haldun University.
