“Fundamentals of Graphic Design” Course at Ibn Haldun University
Our University’s Department of New Media and Communication is offering a course titled “Fundamentals of Graphic Design” aimed at addressing students’ gaps in graphic design and equipping them with professional-level skills.

The Department of New Media and Communication at Ibn Haldun University is launching a new non-credit course to help students strengthen their skills in graphic design and prepare them for professional-level expertise. Titled “Fundamentals of Graphic Design”, this special program covers both the essential principles of design and the use of two indispensable tools in the design world: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The course aims to enhance students’ visual communication skills through hands-on exercises, creative projects, and experiential learning opportunities that transform theory into practice. Participants will not only gain technical proficiency in these programs but also develop the ability to use design as a language of expression.

The program will be conducted by Ibn Haldun University Lecturer Abdulhamit Bolat. Pre-registration is open until Friday, October 3, and students are required to visit Office YBF 1.11 to apply. Classes are scheduled to begin in the second week of October. During pre-registration, students will also have the opportunity to indicate their preferred days and times for the course.

Through this program, Ibn Haldun University aims to provide its students with not only technical skills but also an artistic vision, creative thinking habits, and a strong foundation capable of meeting the demands of the digital age.
